Project Manager — Sindri Research Portfolio
Be the connective layer across all Sindri vehicle research teams. The PM is the primary point of contact for research volunteers and the person responsible for keeping the portfolio moving — coordinating directly with Purpose Circle's founder while running the research process with full autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the shared Sindri Drive, with a separate folder per vehicle containing all guidance, reference materials, and a research outline mirroring each vehicle's ToR.
- Coordinate onboarding: organise a kick-off meeting covering Sindri's aims, how the research will be used, and quality expectations (outputs are intended for publication and/or partners and funders).
- Set and track milestones for each draft stage as well as final papers, and work with the editor on the review and feedback cycle.
- Maintain communication structures: one WhatsApp group per fund (with the editor included) plus one overarching group; facilitate weekly or fortnightly check-ins.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks — uneven contribution, scope creep, disengagement — and flag them proactively.
Profile
Strong English writing and organisational skills; self-directed and comfortable owning a process without close supervision. Experience in project coordination, research management, or a closely related area. Genuine interest in impact finance, community development, or the Global South. Background in international development, impact finance, or academic research coordination is desirable; French or Spanish an asset.
Reward
A LinkedIn recommendation and a written reference from Purpose Circle upon successful delivery of the research portfolio.
