Funding Scouts for Community Projects
Same skill as the role above, applied to specific projects from our community. Example: an Argentine entrepreneur who runs a hairdressing academy training 1,000+ people from low-income backgrounds and needs funding partners.
Responsibilities
- Pair with a community-led project.
- Identify funders, prizes, and partners aligned with the project's mission.
- Hand off a curated list with intro angles to the project lead.
Deliverables
- Share a shortlist of 3–5 funders, prizes, or partners within the project's first 2 months.
- Include a short intro angle for each one you flag.
- Check back in every 2 months with any new leads you've found.
Profile
Same as the funding scout role above, but with appetite to engage directly with one project at a time.
Estimated commitment: 2–4 hours per week, per project
